Oba Femi beat Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank on October 10, 2026. Reed kicked out of a Tsunami before Femi closed out the match.

Ahead of the match, Reed said he brought the same mindset from his bout with Roman Reigns into the contest. He entered with a clear-headed approach and made no secret of it. He also rejected fan criticism over his weight loss, saying it had not cost him his edge in the ring. Reed made clear that his body transformation had not weakened his game between the ropes.
