Andy Burnham's recent proposal for deeper Scottish devolution has been criticized as a mistake. The offer comes amid ongoing discussions about Scotland's independence and devolution. Burnham has invited Nicola Sturgeon to work together on this issue. However, critics argue that the timing of the proposal is ill-timed given the ongoing debates. Some experts have suggested that Burnham's move could damage the chances of a peaceful resolution to the ongoing political dispute in Scotland. Others argue that the proposal could additionally strain relations between the UK government and the Scottish government. The debated proposal has also raised questions about Burnham's tactical intentions and whether he is trying to capitalize on the ongoing discussions.
