Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE continues to face criticism. A Texas resident deported to Ghana was forced to travel to Mali due to security issues. ICE's response to a media report describing a deported migrant as gay on an asylum application was criticized. Reports also detail ICE's operations in the shadows and its presence at polling locations. These issues have sparked debates about civil rights and the agency's role in society.
